hello po mga idols, plano ko po kasing mag start ng business at mangontrata sa woodworking, kasi passion ko talaga yung craftsman particularly sa wood, nung highschool ako ay sa cabinetmaking ang course ko kaya may kaunting knowledge talaga ako pati yung actual working sa mga wood may experience ako though, ask ko lang po sana how much do i need to start business like this, like dun sa mga powertools etc, pwede manghingi ng tips kung ano kailangan ko gawin napansin ko kasi na dominant na ang mdf ngayon thanks

pre, passion is the most important thing to have in starting a business. but to be honest with you, it's a lot more. same with you, i'm also in the process of starting my own business which i hope will also materialize in the next few months. let me gather my notes from my own personal experience and share it with you and the group ... as what rosy once noted in his salutation footnote sa mga replies niya ... dreaming is good, but hard work in achieving that dream is better ... rosy, i hope i remember it right 🙂 ... cheers

Boo!

hi! you already had the passion, ( the most important thing), now you need 500k, for the circular saw, jointer, planer, router, bandsaw, sanding machine, & compressor. you need tools like jigsaw, nail gun tacker, spray gun, grinder, drill and trimmer. canvass it on olx for second hand tools for a start up. but if you had 2m... go for the new one. 🙂 and at least 100sqm of working area. 🙂 God Bless...

If you really want it. Start small time first like contracting cabinets. Then when do a great job on your first project, more contratc will follow.

I agree. This is an initial budget for cabinetry business.

The most important when manage the business is creativity. Mas creative design ng cabinet mas malaki ang kikitain mo.

There's a carpenter running a thriving furniture making business in Las Pinas who's working with a primitive table saw, an angle grinder and a drill.

Note: I dont' have a cabinet making business but this is the same business strategy that I applied when I started mine, wala nga ko tools noon eh, pinambili ko yung pinagdown payment ng client hehehe. wala nga ko kinita pero nagroon ako ng tools.

Ngayon, yung business side of running the business ang mas mahirap, I'm sorry to say pero yan ang sa tingin ko ang mas challenging.
