Plywood Aquarium

Anyone here who have successfully built a plywood aquarium? I'm planning to make one for my next project and i need some advice on the type of wood and waterproofing and where i can buy my materials.

Hmmm...did you mean a plywood aquarium stand or the aquarium itself?

The aquarium itself. I'm planning to build one for 200 gallons. I want to know where i can source marine grade plywood and how much it cost. If anyone here has tried it i would also appreciate some tips. 🙂

Yes the aquarium itself will be made out of plywood with a front glass viewing panel. Thanks for the info.

That is not advisable, Wood will leak, waterproofing might poison your fish. But if you really wanna give it a try, use marine plywood.
