Bosch asked me to make something for the philconstruct event (Nov. 9 to 12) and I decided to make a plywood workbench... yes plywood!
3/4" plywood cut into segments to make the legs and stretchers.

then I start cutting them to length, that will form the tenons for the stretchers...

Re: plywood workbench

and the mortise for the legs.

then I make a fitting Jig...

this will be used to set the tenons and mortises in the proper size and location.

Re: plywood workbench

Andrew, sa smx besides Mall of Asia....

Armand, madali ko na break down yung ply dahil sa track at cs na gamit ko. I did not and will not use the ts on this one. took about 12 minutes to cut a whole sheet down to these.

Re: plywood workbench

started the day cutting another sheet of ply into 4 pieces...

sent all the parts to SMX and built this in 1 hour...should have been faster if glue dried sooner.

I believe the wb is strong, sturdy, easy to make and reasonably priced... this should hold a front vise and some dogs well too. the top is reversible and replaceable when it gets some beating...

all in all I have invested 3 to 4 hours work at this stage, does this count as a quickie?
