Not all projects need the special attention, such are workshop projects, jigs and just about anything...
like this tool cabinet I have started making with approximately 6.5 hours into the build, using a whole scrap plyboard that I found lying around. cut and assembled using screws and nails and glue with dadoed sides... then edge-banded and nailed to place...

even got a chance to make a drawer, which eventually will be filled with it. scrap too...

it will have a false front soon once all drawers are made.

Re: Post your Quick and Dirty projects here

this one took around 3 hours since I got time to burn. tenon joints for the base and extended finger joints for the top.

I love my Asturo Spray Gun, so I made a stand.

making sure that the cup sits straight...

hehehe, since the wood for the spray gun is scraps, sealed na yun and glue don't hold well, kaya may turnilyo yan... kaya nga dirty eh... hehehehe
the storage cabinets has already freed up space in my shop. it should improve some more once the drawers are done...

Re: Post your Quick and Dirty projects here

Nice storage solutions, it really does make up for a great volume of space for a small foot print. I'm also wanting to create one but I still need to drip proof my dirty kitchen before having one.

Btw, what's the difference between a plyboard and a plywood again? I believe moji answered that long ago but i couldn't find the post. I need to buy one kasi so as to push through with my long gone crosscut jig na dapat sana tapos na kundi lang nanenok yung 20"x20"plywood na gagamitin ko. Now I have to buy a whole 4'x8' one just for that! 🙁

Re: Post your Quick and Dirty projects here

plywood has sheets of wood glued together, more stable length and crosswise
plyboard has strips of wood glued together with substrates on top and bottom. ok sya when used lengthwise sine solid wood yun.

Re: Post your Quick and Dirty projects here

it is much easier to build without bounderies Jon, iba kasi kung may specs kang sinusunod. in this build I just cut until everything fits... pero kung gusto mo ng tight fitting cases sa loob ng enclosed space, eh mapapractice ng husto and math mo...and that takes a lot of time 😀

Ah ok, so ito yung parang may rectangles na nakikita mo sa sides which are end grains of the hardwood strips. Which is more expensive?
