Project: Pro audio rack case

Project duration: 4 Saturdays
Cost:
* I cant recall the exact cost
Wood: 1pc 800php plyboard *
Aluminum: 2pcs. 230php each 21feet *
Rivets: 100php
Paint: 200php
Handles: 2pcs 150php each *
Alum Corners: 4pcs. old stock
Rack rails: 2pcs. old stock
Plastic corners: 4pcs. 10php each
Clip locks: 4pcs 130php each *
Newbie skills: priceless 🙂

My apologies for the few pictures below.

1st Saturday
-Assembled the box (Saw/Glue /Sand)
-Installed the rack rails for testing

2nd Saturday
-Painted the box with primer
-Painted the box with black latex paint

3rd Saturday
-Assembled the detachable front door
-Installed the aluminum edges using rivets
-Installed the recessed handles

4th Saturday
-Installed the rack rails
-Installed the alum and plastic corners
-Installed the clip locks
-Testing testing

Road case parts are available at Audiophile Stores. Some stores in raon like Elite Audio also have generic parts for sale.

Nice work Brader. Nice starter setup kit If I may say. Kahit may wheels, medyo mabigat na yan. Im sure extra support are in placed. Extra heavy ang pro amps ( xformer based).

OT. In due time, you might consider a modular set up considering operational and setup flexibility. Anyway, madali na yan sa iyo...

Pwede ng pang gym yun power amps sa bigat. I used steel L brackets inside for support. Good thing is that this box is not going anywhere outside my house. Parusa ito sa pag buhat haha.

I forgot to consider the heat 🙁 I'm planning to put exhaust fans at the back for cooling.

Hooray for my cheap super power tools 🙂 Big help sa construction.
