whats construction grade lumber? tanguile din yun diba? or coco lumber?

I believe they can since pine is softer.

I mean the engineered lumber that we usually buy at our neighboring hardwares. Just like the one's moji used for this135Gal aquarium stand.

Construction grade wood is different from engineered wood. Construction grade simply means wood used for general construction, not exotic or expensive wood..it still is wood that comes straight from the tree. engineered wood means it is man made..LVL, plywood, MDF are examples of engineered wood..I used construction grade wood for the frame of the aquarium..I think it is tanguile..

Ohhh...now I know. Nahilo yata ako nung nagbabasa ako ng brochure ng Matimco as i remember the words engineered and saw a 2x2. Anyway, thanks for the clarification moji!

No prob! I think terms with "grade" (i.e. construction grade, furniture grade) on them are more of american terms and aren't used here often..try going to a hardware and ask for furniture grade lumber and they will look at you funny..
What i do hear a lot being used is "good lumber", which i think is a very vague term to describe lumber. Its funny, sometimes i ask the hardware people what type of wood they sell and they answer me - good lumber. :rolleyes:
