reinforced a void in my formal dining table

This is the void

and this is the glass that covers it

Reinforcing it to make sure the glass has enough support when a glass lazy susan is installed. I opted not to make a wooden lazy susan since it seems wiser to use glass anyways

thank God for router and pattern bits!

my chiseling has improved

so has my marking and alignment

all lap joint markings were done in actual and on the fly

these were done freehand with a router. Its about time i make a dado jig !

yep i did. but not in the way that it was really intended to 🙂

i used it as a memory stick of sorts instead. hehehe

Normally any dadoing will be done in my cross cut sled/TS and since i only have a normal blade i just go for several passes, the kerf maker wouldve been perfect. But i still havent made a crosscut sled for the jimmy jig on my ts... 🙁
