Hi to all.

I'm planning to build a Scrap Wood Wall Feature sa lanai ng house.
It will somehow similar to this image.

I will post the design, once ready. My idea is to re-use yun mga kahoy na ginamit pang scaffold and formworks. I will integrate green container plant sa design.

Hope to get some inputs.

Re: Scrap Wood Wall Feature

Looks great. I have a wall of scrap silver slate trimmings at home just like that. Managed to put all the scrap to good use.

But, since yours is wood, will it be exposed to the elements like in photo? And, if so, how do you plan to protect it? I have a wooden trellis at home which I protected with some Jardine brand waterproofing. After 7 years, I think I need to reapply.

I would also recommend epoxy resin for waterproofing, top-coated by PU varnish for anti-UV.

But, whatever you use, looking at all that surface area and nooks and crannies, it'll be very expensive.

Would be interested to find out what you'll do.

Re: Scrap Wood Wall Feature

thanks balarila.

the scrap wall feature will be mounted on the garage wall, not fully exposed sa weather.
i was thinking of just sealing it, then maybe varnished later on.
