Posting my WIPs of my 2nd shoe cabinet..the [COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]First one was given to my future daughter-in-law by my second son and was finished with lacquer based paints from the excess paints I used for my bandsaw, this time its for my daughter. Tomorrow, if the weather permits I will have a whole day to try faux painting using tinting colors, sanding sealer and lacquer varnish, if it won't turn out good, plan B is to paint the whole with solid color again. I used 3/4" Uniwood marine plywood with 1/4" mahogany edgebands.

Im also planning on building a shoe cabinet...What kind of hinge you use in order for the door cabinet to swing? does it have a stopper?

I used 3/8" dowels as hinges..as seen in this pic.. small blocks of woods will serve as stoppers..sorry for the crappy shot..medyo out of focus.

Some update photos of the cabinet. The images looks lighter than the actual..they are supposed to be on the darker hue..but i guess i'm close to what i'm trying to achieve here. By coming sunday more coats will be applied and hopefully finished by monday.

finally done by 10am after 2 coats of sanding sealer and topped with clear gloss and lacquer flo.
Handles na lang ang kulang.

Im receiving plenty of inquiries from my officemates and from our neighbours about the selling price of this cabinet but i have no idea how much I'm gonna sell it.
All I know is the material cost which amounted to p2,100 plus.
Most likely Im gonna build more of this..much easier than the wine racks.
