White painting, not sure what info you need, I just used Pylox Can spray. White was chosen for its reflective properties.

Re: Show your Quickie Quickie Projects

I do hope you used some sort of woodworking glue to your build qguy, it will definitely enhance its durability.....

Re: Show your Quickie Quickie Projects

Thank for the tip. I used lots of it. Pioneer Carpenters glue. I love this glue, its cheap and the kids uses it for their projects, I refill their Elmers containers with this stuff. much cheaper too and dries a lot faster.

Re: Show your Quickie Quickie Projects

Does a 3 hour build considered Quickie?
Well from cutting to finishing in 3 hours or less, my simple practice box... made out of tugas and maple.

Re: Show your Quickie Quickie Projects

Nice box Timb..your inlay is really getting better.

Did you intentionally install the hinges with the rear sticking out?

on a previous box, I tried installing it hidden, won't work. It seems to be designed that way.

Re: Show your Quickie Quickie Projects

in the piano box i made before, i was able to make it half protruding only. I think it looks better if installed this way.
