Finished the box shelf!

Planed the edge-band. Sanded the whole thing. Applied some wood stain, then applied some leftover polyurethane varnish.

When my daughter comes home this afternoon, she'll see this:

I hope she doesn't ask me for a matching desk.

Simple, elegant and very useful to contain would be desk clutter.

Beautiful! I won't show this to swmbo, kukulitin nya akong gumawa pag nagkataon. :p

What stain did you use? It looks very much like the color that she prefers. Hindi ba halata yung boundary between plywood and edge band?

How did you mount it on the concrete wall? I'm wondering because when I drill into concrete I always end up with a hole a bit off the position I want it to be. And this won't do when I mount the would be kitchen cabinets.

This is my dirty qiuckie project, done in 3hrs. Inspired by the Leopold's bench of sir Jonathan.
And made by a kindergarten.:D

My materials;

Used coco lumber. (coco lumber na nga used pa.:()

Nuts and bolts(from junkshop) and Tex screws

Cut the coco lumber to length and angel.
The SCMS looks familiar?;)

Quickie quickie is the way to go ..... It's really great to start them young. Congrats to the boy.:)
