Re: skimboards making
try this company, http://www.polymerprod.com/ for resins and styro. Its a local company by the way and they accommodate small purchases
Re: skimboards making
Not sure if Polymer has styrofoam but they do have polyurethane foam but it is quite expensive. They do have everything else. If you going to use epoxy for your resin then check out the materials discussions here http://www.pinoyboats.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 of the Philippine Home Boatbuilder's Yacht Club. Polymer sell epoxy there are quite a few sources.
Re: skimboards making
Cool Skimboards 🙂 i plan to make too. You can buy polyurethane mix in Uratex in QC. or in Jolis Marketing near Ust. ALtho you'll need to make a box then make the foam block first then shape it after.
You can buy polyurethane foam at polymer industries, but it isnt big enough for a skimboard, they said that they plan tom produce high density polyurethane foam in the future but it isnt available yet. ABS Foam is best but im still looking for a supplier here in MNL. 🙂
