Hi there! Sometimes wood wastes or cut-offs are hard to dispose of. If I ran out of wood then making knick knacks out of wood waste keeps me busy. I hope you'll find this interesting
I started with a small piece of 2x2x2" square block of wood.I cross marked all corners on all sides to get the center.
With the use of a drill press and forstner bit, I started boring holes on all sides.
Carefully checking the dept and maintaining it equally on all sides. Notice that the remaining wood inside the block becomes another block.
All corners of the inner block are still attached and with the use of a cutter blade, I started cutting the corners to separate it from the outer block

A friend of mine went to the extreme by turning a sphere and doing the same procedure. so it's a cube inside a sphere. Anybody want to try it:rolleyes:

Timber, you make it look naman that I live in a mountain. Pero you're close. I live in a hill beside mt. makiling kaya yung term "bababa" is fair enough.

Time slows you down here. Lots of mature trees and lush vegetation and a view of laguna lake. Maybe a great place to write poems, write novels,or whatever kind of artist you are. As for me, I keep myself busy woodworking , minding my own business, waiting for strong winds or typhoon to come. At the end of the day I go around searching for something I can feed my chainsaw..if you know what I mean.;)
