This is the first output of my the DIY band saw, a small cabinet or pwede ring medicine cabinet made of recycled molave wooden post from my my in-laws' demolished old house. Sa sobrang tigas ng molave (mulawin in batangas) it dulled my band saw blade after slicing them into size. Even my jointer halos sumuko sa tigas at bigat ng kahoy.
this is the blueprint of the cabinet, simple joineries lang ang ginamit ko.

started more than 2 weeks ago and shown here glued up na using Joey's TB III.

after applying a first coat of ZAR Tung Oil (don't know if fake or orig tung oil) from Wilcon.
and after basain ng habagat ang floor ng shop ko I was able to apply the second coat of tung oil.
wax will follow after totally matuyo ang oil.

Nag pa ship out ako ng mga local w/ papers. Abangan mo ksi may mga darkwood doon at medium density wood.

The darks are furniture components, 2"- 4" (Thk) x 6"-14"(W) x 5ft. longer up to 8ft. The mediums are for sash works ranging from 2"- 6" (Thk) x 6"-14"(W) x 6ft. longer up to 10ft. Excited na me!:bounceD: Sana alang aberya para wood to sawa tayo. Mahirap humanap ng ganuong kahoy more so ganuong sizes.:biggrin:

Thanks DocV. No idea pa what is french cleat, 4 keyholes on the 1/8" plywood backing lang nilagay ko, nung ma-shoot na sa butas yung mga screw tsaka ko binaon ng husto yung mga screws.
