small side table

the 1 x 4 braces are stained with red mahogany while the rest with brown mahogany.

The finish is Zar wipe on tung oil. I prefer wipe ons than brushing. But this is only satin finish, I would like to get hold of semigloss for some projects.

This project went trhough ALOT of short cuts since i didnt want to take too long making it. Its supposed to have some shelvings and the drawer face is... well... wrong for most purists (heheheh its short on both the vertical and horizontal length ) but it still looks good ... i think

I agree it looks good. Better up pads on its feet so the end grain does not pull in water and ruin it.

better yet, turn it upside-down, seal the feet with sanding sealer then add the rubber feet. that way moisture will not seep into them...
