Re: small space for a workshop

This morning, I went to Panda Binondo with my SMWBO and buy some tools.

I met sir Edward and he's a very nice person. He gave me a poster about General Information for Drilling and Tapping. Nice to put on the wall in my small workshop.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just like to share my WIP...This Afternoon, after i got home from Panda, I started my first sawhorse.
I only accomplished cutting my 2x2's to sizes as indicated on my sketch/plan.
Tomorrow will continue the sawhorse and then maybe cutting plywood for my first workbench.
Cut also the other end and the middle with CS, while hand-sawed the end grain to middle ...
Drilled a hole to all 8 legs using forstner bit 15mm...
Questions with regards to Pipe use for Pony clamps
I went to nearest hardware store to buy GI pipe for my clamps, but unfortunately they aren't cutting G.I. and B.I. pipes..I need to purchase whole 20 meters..but they have this Galvanized schedule pipe and they sell it per foot for 28 php, and 30 php for a thread service...
*My questions are,
1.) Is the Galvanized schedule pipe durable enough and will serve me longer or much better to purchase the 20-meter long B.I./G.I pipe and cut it myself...
2.) Is the Galvanized schedule pipe can be easily acquire rust..
Please help to enlighten me with regards to pipes..Thank You!
Re: small space for a workshop
@ argus,
First of all bro pipes sold at hardware stores are only 6 meters or 20 FT in length, not 20 meters.
Buy the GI pipes and if possible avoid using BI (BLACK IRON) pipes, they rust easily ones the grease or oil coating has been removed, mapatakan lang ng tubig yan, in a few minute evident na kalawang. 😮 With GI (Galvanized Iron), it will take months or years before rust starts showing up and if it does, sand that little spot with rust then wipe with grease or some machine oil. 😉
Just buy the whole 20 FT GI pipe and cut it to your desired length, it will end up mas mura and with the excess pipes, you can again plan in buying a pair of clamps which I know you will be able to use them for your additional projects to come. When you cut your pipes, plan to maximize the length measurements thus avoiding any left over wastage. :fetch1:
Hope this helps !!!
---------------------------------------------------------------
Bro pag bili mo ng GI pipe, bring with you a piece of the clamp so you can fit it to the pipe just to be sure, OK !
*Pony clamp costs 855 php each at Panda while
*C Clamps (these are just cheap clamps, KYK brand :p), for 6" costs 270 php each while 4" costs 170 php each at DIY shop.
I was also looking for darnet's services for secure and confidential communication. It is very reliable and convenient. I think you need to check out dream market mirror. Just go and choose, and see the rating of sellers and services. I paid with bitcoins.
