Share ko lang my latest wip. A study table for my eldest daughter.

I started to build the cabinet with 3 layers of drawers.
I've already cut the 3/4 plywood for the drawers.

I used Kreg Jig K4 Pocket Hole System to assemble the box. The frame is made of pine. (Easy to work on but very soft). Full extension drawer slides for bottom and middle drawer.

Here is my improvised wood rack made of scaffolding.

Re: Study Table

Glued several palo china together . I used elmer's wood glue. This will be used for the drawer's face.

While waiting for the glue to dry, I assembled the drawers. First I have to make 1/4" dadoes on the drawer sides, front & back with the help of my freud stacked dado blades.

Re: Study Table

Test cut muna with a piece of scrap plywood.

Medyo maluwag. My 1/4" plywood is undersized.

Re: Study Table

I assembled the sides and back first.

Then after measuring, I then cut the bottom part (1/4 plywood)

Finished assembling all 3 drawers.

Re: Study Table

After several hours, maganda na ang kapit ng glue. Used a hand plane to even out the surface.

A few more passes sa jointer and thicknesser to reduce the thickness to 3/4".

Re: Study Table

Installed right angle bracket mounts around the top edge. These will be used to secure the desktop. (I just want to try these brackets instead of pocket holes. Para maiba naman.)

Cut the desktop. As you can see very little splinter when cross-cutting using a freud blade.

Mounted the desktop with 3/4 gypsum board screws.

Re: Study Table

Heto na mukha nang table.

You'll notice on the bottom the brace is somewhat odd. Request ng may-ari. Patungan ng paa.

Edge banded

May desk hutch pa ito.

That's all for now thanks for viewing.
