Hi guys,

I have a similar thread in the Home improvements section. I would like to know what wood you guys would recommend for a stud wall? The reason I ask is I'm not from the Philippines, but would like to build a few new walls in the place my wife and I will be staying when in the Philippines. Usually I would just use pine 2x4's, but I'm not sure what it cost there or if its even available there and I don't want to spend a fortune just to use pine. So what would your advice be? Is there a certain wood you would recommend or is pine readily available there? I would like something quality that will last.
