Hello po mga sir bago lang po ako dito at sobrang hangang hanga naman ako sa mga tao dito ang gagaling sobra .. well baguhan pa lang kasi ako gusto ko gumawa ng cabinet pero hirap pa ako start muna sana ako sa pag cut ng deretcho hehe lagari lang kasi gamit ko sir kasi yung electric jigsaw ko tumatabingi pag 3/4 plywood gamit ko sir saktong sukat lang need ko para mabuo ko ang cabinet ko actually naka buo na ako ng isa pero need ko pa ng isa di tuloy pantay tabi tabingi hehe baka po meron kaung alam na nag cucut ng plywood ayon sa gusto kng sukat? 🙂 around qc or caloocan lang po sana..

@ akosidot, if you need to cut straight with a jigsaw, you need to use a straight guide (jig) that you can place across the board that your cutting. yung guide (e.g. steel angle bar, aluminum angle bar, etc.) can be anything, basta straight and longer than the one your cutting. you position and hold the guide in place to the board by using any clamp (e.g. C-clamp) or vice grip at each end of the board
if your going to be cutting a lot of straight cut, i recommend that you make your own straight cut jig for your jigsaw. browse the internet for a lot of simple designs that you can do depending on the materials that you have on hand ... cheers

It is the result of the blade being not perfectly parallel to the edge of the jigsaw foot. In my case the blade is facing slightly to the left. Only by a very small fraction of a degree. Not noticeable by the naked eye.
I would suggest you invest in a circular saw. Then make a saw board ( circular saw guide).
