Hi everyone! Good evening! Ask ko lang kung pwede gawing flooring ang palo china strips? How can i make last longer kahit 1 to 2 years? I have a 16 months old daughter na mahilig tumakbo sa living area (Tiled flooring). I dont have a budget for the hardwood one. 40sqm would cost me around 50-80k i think.

Thank you.

Here's a reasonable price guide you may use to compute for flooring:

Your area is approximately 430.40 square feet X

Installation and sanding = P 60-85/square foot
Finishing: Lacquer sealer and wax = P 50/square foot
Polyurethane finish = P 85-120/square foot

Pine is ok but choose a much better grade. Try to use New Zealand Pine w/ is a furniture grade of lumber. They have a merchantable series that FORMAPLY sells. Last time i got it was around P 65/board foot. You may also use Matured Mahogany (aged 30yrs and above) for the same price range. Your gonna be fine as long as you choose the accessories you put in your house during her first 3 years of age. We always "Child proof" even w/ furniture to preserve wooden floors. BTW, i have 2 daughters and i know that they aren't that much different from boys when they run around the place. They're just sweeter and more refined when they play.
