earlier I tried my hand at it anyway, just before heading home I cut a piece of 4" x 1" x 8'...

Single pass lahat? Malinis ang pasada.

Replacement blade lng nasa cart ko now. Nakakaenganyo idagdag yung dado na rin.

Hindi ba time consuming i setup yun Freud dado blade?:)

it takes so much of my time to change to dado blade... about 40 seconds. kasi binabalik ko pa sa casing yung mga blades eh... 😀

Actually it's a "modified" GMC (china/aussie) 1 hp dust collector I bought at dau about a year ago. I cost me 2.5k pero I made a major upgrade like replacing the plastic fan with fiberglass. Suction is about 3" . Tried 2" hose before (using a reducer) kaya lang clog lagi specially when using it on a thicknesser. The motor gave on me after a few days so I have it rewind. Anyway it's working fine now and it really helps a lot. I highly recommend it (well perhaps much better quality like oneida). [COLOR="Red"]This is one tool that is usually ignored but actually a very important one.

simple improvisation.Not efficient enough to contain of the micro particles but much safer than none.

I see a lot of similar surplus motors ( similar in shape to what Max have ) on a side street near Panda. I just don't know if these will work for dust collection.
