The only speed square ive had so far is a plastic Lotus speed square... that isnt PERFECTLY square but does most jobs

I got the swanson speed square the 7 inch and the big 12 inch... i didnt realize how big it was until i saw it in person

i dont know what kind of metal it is bit its pretty light yet rigid. And it has a little blue book of stuff..... hmmmmmm

was contemplating on getting the stanley, but the blue book seemed interesting. I just didnt realize BOTH squares came with the same blue book .

i know we could probably get the same jigs on the net, but its always great to have a handy reference. I am open to have the books photocopied if anyone is interested. I can give em to you during the BOsch workshop. You'll just have to pay the photocopy cost.

those aren't bought locally, or are they? very interested in the shop made jigs book, can I just browse it during the event. I reckon, most I have seen online already, but still good to get ideas. congrats on the new acquisitions bee...

It came with the balikbayan box filled with baby stuff . These were the only TOYS i could squeeze hehe

Those are nice books .. the squares too.

Sometimes you can find such books in the Booksale outlets or the other 2nd hand book vendors. The web of course is another great place (ever hear of bit torrent?) though personally I prefer books.
