so amazed at how you bravely dismantled the armature and bearing and let alone taking photos...

good job bro...hoping once in a while i get some time to flip it the same to clean all what's beneath the table top.

from the looks, the bosch is a really well made jobsite saw.

item link broken, but I have come across the item, seems not a good attachment since it tends to load the arbor and bearings (from another forum, I cant recall anymore :D)

Yeah might as well get a real belt sander. Bosch 4100 expensive to repair if broken.

the hand-held ones are often races sa states, looking at the table top ones with a disc sander too... 😀

I finally bough a simple green cleaner last friday... works great...

I got some left over Simple Green from the cylinder head degreasing I just did. I plan to use it to clean all my blades.

Do I need to rinse with water after using Simple Green or just wipe the blades with wet cloth? Just dry cloth maybe?

you can do either, I washed and used dish-washing detergent on mine. dried it with a cloth and waxed the whole thing.

madali lang yan Doc, but you either have a fixed table for your ts or you ts is in a dedicated place, otherwise it won't work and only pose distractions and danger.

Blade Cleaning is a very tedious job. Soak in Simple Green, scrub, wash with joy soap and a lot of water rinsing. I wore nitrile gloves all the way but I can still feel the bite of the degreaser in my hands.

This 7 1/4 Craftsman blade did not stand the degreaser as the label faded out. 🙂

Plexon na lang nubos na pala yun Johnson. Is this enough protection for the other blades that will not be used but stored? Is it better to put oil on this and just clean it up prior to use. I worry that the blades will get rust during prolonged storage.

The first order is the Circular saw. Might as well clean and tune the tools.

A dab of anti seize lubricant on the bolt prior to blade installation.

Nothing to tune as the saw setup was still right on the dot. I thought the laser was off mark but as it turned out the lens was just dirty with saw dust.

I'm tired now. The table saw and the miter saw will have to wait for another day.
