mga sir, pwede po ba makahingi idea kung ano magandang blade for circular saw,d/f melamine?7 1/4
cno po kayang mabait ang magbibgay ng idea?for cutting d/f melamine 7 1/4 dia. blade? tnx
, as a rule, the more teeth the blade has, the smoother the cut which will be good for MDF or particle board with melamine on one side.
normally you'll see the word "finishing" on the blade ... there are the tungsten carbide tip (matagal bago pumurol) models whose teeth ranges from 40T-60T ... non-carbide finishing blades has around 140T teeths. the teeth is similar to the teeth of a normal saw, mas maliit lang. they easily get dulled compared to carbide teeth but are less expensive than carbide teeth ... if you will not be cutting a lot of plywoods, then it should also be ok to get this ... cheers
Boo!
pwede ba makahingi sudgestion?ano magandang gamitin circular saw blade 7 1/4 size, tnx
tnx sa reply

Hello, I recently bought this saw. It has a free extra 40t blade but the arbor is 25.4mm. How can i use it given the saw's arbor is only 20mm? Do i need to replace the mounting flange? Where can i buy it? Price? Thanks in advance

Large bore blades usually come withe an adapter ring so you can use the blade on smaller arbors. Ask the vendor for that ring.
Thanks joey81. I will contact lazada. Sana ibigay. Otherwise, i might be forced to buy a 60t blade with adapter included. Stock is 20t. I need more tooth for plywood.
Update : Bought a tungsten carbide 60T from Goldpeak with ring adapterprovided. I can now use the free 40T from Lazada. By the way, Lazada gave me na lang a voucher for the inconvenience. Voucher was enough to offset the price of the blade I bought from Goldpeak. In the end, it was still a good deal.
By the way, Where can i buy the inner flange / washer? I checked the website , it is part 1-619-P06-342. Cost is 212 pesos per website. Made an inquiry in their website.I want to do the innovation shown in this thread so that I can use the more common 16mm arbor saw. Thank you
The inner flange/washer is 199 pesos in makati. The shop ordered it in bosch. Hopefully to get it by friday.
Finally have the washer yesterday. Bought it from Toolcare Master in Bangkal, Makati. Thanks to Paul. If you need the part, you must call in advance because they do not stock it normally. They must order it from Bosch. Medyo mahirap lang mag park sa Bangkal.
Re: Bosch GKS 190 Circular Saw
New blade for my GKS 190, Bosch Optiline 60T with 4 pcs ring spacer (20mm/19mm/16mm/5/8").
Need to replace my 7 1/4" Freud blade, hindi na maganda ang cut sa melamine boards....after cutting 100 sheets of 3/4" thk 4x8 boards.
BTW, in this picture are the "ring adapters" I was talking about.

5/8" is 15.875mm
If you're going to modify that flange for 16mm you still cannot use the blades for the US market (diablo, freud).
If I were you I'll modify for 5/8" and use adapter rings for blades with larger bore.
Hi Joey81,
I plan to reduce the diameter of the extra washer I have so that it fits exactly the 5/8" blade commonly available in Amazon. I still have my original washer in case the machining goes awry. Thanks for the advise.
