exciting to ah... im still holding on buying the Makita MLT100, read a lot of good and bad things about it and wala pa ako nakikitang nag bebenta na willing magpa daan ng kamagong wood to try it.

how much kaya ang cost ng Bosch table saw?

i feel a little good that i only spent 10 k for my jet table saw. 🙂 so my table saw will be 10K plus bosch TS price

now.... what stuff should i sell to grab that table saw... hmmmmmmm

now i wonder how many units will they bring in. I am sure at least 3 units will be bought in an instant HAHAH.

Bosch is known to never sell directly to retailers. i wonder if they will be willing to make an exception and give up a few units directly to hobbyists just to build a customer base that can give a feedback on their TS.

I hope that this will be the 4100 model (with riving knife not splitter) rather than a predecessor/UK/Asian model such as GTS 10, and that the price will not be much more than the $500 to $600 US price.

(Or at most the US price + shipping.)

I wonder what made them change their mind, as they previously said that they had 'no plans this year' to sell a table saw.

If it is the 4100 model without the gravity stand and the price is around 500 to 550 USD then that is a good price. That's more or less the landed cost of a US model TAX FREE (RP). How about VAT?

as for the model, I really doubt it will be a 4100 since it is a 110Volt model for the US market. might be the GTS10, though not sure as well if there is a never version with a riving knife.
Bosch doesn't sell direct to retailers, this is their way of protecting them, but they are THE only company that is fully represented in the country and not a 3rd party. Makita is represented by Mayon, and Dewalt by another company...
I have met the regional director of Bosch and he is a nice person to talk with. quite young and knowledgeable at his craft. I believe he listens to reason very well as long as it is the correct reasons. I do wish that the DIY community grows, and it seems that Bosch will be willing to be at our side. Therefore, I look forward to the growth of the DIY community together with Bosch...

Bosch seems to only sell to distributors. last i checked. They dont deal with retailers directly
