I'm planning to buy a new electric drill to replace my recently retired skil drill. How can I do quick check if there's run out or wobble? TIA braders.:)

For me I just chuck up a larger bit , run the drill low speed then high speed and eye the bit for any run out. If it's running true then the bit will seem to be stationary while rotating.
Unlike drill presses, hand drills are not so notorious when it comes to chuck run out.
However I would choose a drill with a good chuck brand installed to start with.
By the way I noticed that the Cordless Drills given away by Bosch were loaded with ROHM chucks.
