This is 9K in Lazada sold by Gold Apex. Not bad especially for light duty task or weekend activities.

Hi! newbie here from Rizal/Singapore. im currently looking for equipments to fulfill my woodworking hobby, or maybe a future source of extra income. with the TS indulgence, maki ride na lang po ako sa thread na to.

anyone here can enlighten me on my table saw purchase? im planning to buy one, and narrowed my choice to two items na sa tingin kong matino and available in the Philippines... Bosch GTS10j and JET JTS10, these two fits my budget. hihingi po sana ako ng opinions and suggestions nyo...

ok po ba ang tables saws na to? any other brands you can recommend? and saan makakabili na ok ang price? thanks in advance.

I know of at least 5 owners of the GTS10J that are very satisfied with the performance of the TS. Last I heard it sells for 28k or 29k.

The JTS10...
beebeenator used to own one and he doesn't recommend it

thanks so much for the reply sir Joey81. mukhang nag mahal na ng konti ang GTS10J, kita ko sa Goldpeak its 30k++.

ask na rin ako sir if theres anything else i should look for or be aware of, when buying this table saw? thanks in advance.

Baka yung 30k+ already includes the gravity stand. A friend recently bought from Panda Construction Supplies. Around 28k if I remember correctly.

The miter slot of the 10J is not the 3/4" wide. 5/8" yata. Very lmited ang options mo if you choose to buy an after-market miter gauge, as most of them are the "standard" 3/4".

Also, the arbor size is different from the 5/8" arbor common in the US. Dado blades only come with 5/8 arbor. That is right out of the box. You can have the inner flange of the saw modified para maging 5/8 arbor.

oh i see. aside from the miter slot, bale issues lang ng arbor with the dado blades? those ordinary table saw blades blades will work just fine, tama po ba sir?

Provided your "ordinary" blade's arbor matches the 10J's arbor, it should work out fine.

i've read sa kabilang forum, some owners did some modification on the GTS10j's arbor to resolve this issue. but the posts were back 2 years ago. going forward, i wonder if scarce pa rin ang blades ngayon for this table saw?... or im gonna be forced to do the same modification if i choose to buy this one?

Bosch already owns Freud. They make blades that fit the 10J. Blades are available at Panda Consturction Supply.

As for dado blades, no choice ka but to use a modified inner flange. The inner flange is removable. So you can opt to have one fabricated in your favorite machine shop. That way you can switch between "stock arbor" and "modified arbor"

Also, if you are limited by the 18" rip capacity of the 10J, you can upgrade it by installing 22" extension rails. Out of stock nga lang ngayon (last 3 sets sold out in the past 2 weeks). Early next year siguro magkakaroon ulit.
