I would not get the JTS10 if i were you

has way too much problems, for me its like throwing money away.

Istanbul is a nice place, was there last year..

I am sure bosch and dewalt models are available in istanbul, better bang for buck

To be fair, JTS 10 didn't require much buck: it's only 10k, cheaper than some circular saws. And with some work, it can be made to accurately deal with 4x8. Sulit na din if you have a lot of cabinets and shelves to make. It's just that the setup time and effort is considerable, so it's only worth it if you're doing around 5-6 sheets at a time.

I've had one but sold it after my project was done. I actually might buy one again if i need to renovate cabinets and shelves. Of course a contractor saw would be nicer, but those aren't 10k.

I agree, it does work fine on sheet goods like plywood, and it can be made accurate with some work. yes you have to work on it first to be accurate which requires you a bit of mechanical knowledge. plus you will have to make it that setting up becomes a chore. and doing this makes the ts even more prone to accidents.
the price is really reasonable, though I would probably buy a decent to good cs instead. contractors seem to love cheap tools a lot since it saves them money without considering the safety aspects.
if one intends to get the Jet TS, be sure you have a little mechanical background to tune the saw properly and know the proper use to be safe (for all ts for that matter).

A [COLOR="Red"]VERY BIG + 1 ako dyan Timbs, I have nothing against a Jet TS or CS for that matter but there are some negative issues and reviews on this tools and I cannot allow future accidents that may occur while using these machines. Loosing a finger or two is no joke, just can't afford loosing them, or just being cut by the blades is such a no no.

I don't have a TS pa and I'm not rushing myself in having one yet, still reading and studying the threads here and getting the necessary infos on what would be the most practical and durable TS in the market that will not give me a ton of headaches when the time comes that I buy one.
