Re: Kreg jig
I've already used it and made this cabinet for my dart board.
In my haste forgot to take pictures while I was building it. Pasensiya na po. There are still things I need to add like lalagyan ng darts and score board. Need to conceal the damage to the wall (mga tama ng darts).
Re: Kreg jig
Great project willy!
From the posts, I guess you built the door frame before routing the inside profile. You seem to have experience on wood as it seems and well tooled I assume.
It's a pity not to see the WIPs (Work In Progress) stages of this dart cabinet. Congrats again and we hope to see more work from you.
Re: Kreg jig
By the way guys, could you please post a pic of a side by side comparison between the Kreg and the local screw that you use for your works.
It's sad to be on the assembly stage just to find that the local screw would not work. Thanks!!!
Re: Kreg jig
galing ng work mo classmate, meron nako mahihiraman ng kreg jig :p (joke lang)...looks like plenty of projects on the way, lagi nga kita natatanaw sa workshop mo, lagi ka busy :p; 😉 good luck on your next projects...mabuhay!!!
Re: Kreg jig
Thank you. Compared to your work, I still have a long way to go. Marami pang projects na gagawin before ma reach ko na ung level niyo. Hindi nga ako makagawa lately. Anytime pm na lang kita pag nandito ako. Lagi kasi me sa Sta. Maria. Pwede nga i-apply sa current project mo ung pocket hole joinery to join the top to the base.
Re: Kreg jig
These are what I used first.
Then after the glue has dried I replaced the kreg screws with these. Self tapping gypsum board screws (yun ang sabi sa akin ng nabilhan ko).
Compared side by side.
Btw yung black ang nakalagay sa cabinet. It seems ok naman. Hindi pa naman lumuluwag. Thanks to Sir Timber. I read from one of his posts. Inaply ko na lang dito.
Re: Kreg jig
Willy, the gypsum screws you have are for steel. you should get the screws that have a "slice" sa tip just like the square driven screwd you have for wood.
Re: Kreg jig
Ok Sir Bee, thanks for the advise. I will look for the screws this week when I go to Manila. Wala available dito sa amin.

Just want to share my Kreg Jig.
Here Moji don't be sad, you are not alone we share the same exact hole.

Re: Kreg jig
Saw a similar display at the True Value in Makati sometime last year. Nice, organized, and exciting at first, but the prices are repellent. One look at the price (pick any box) will drive you away from the whole display and create a long-lasting force field around that aisle.
If the screw pictured is being suggested, might as well use Fischer 4, 4.5, or 5 mm screws from Ace, or Hafele equivalent, or #8 or #10 or #12 stainless steel "metal" screws from To Suy and the like. While not cheap, the price would be much less than the astronomical prices in that display.
