I' planning a small printer table/stand with drawers and cabinet with dimension 16"x20"x20" WDH. Hope to use 1/2 MDF.
Will kreg+glue be ok? Just to speed up fastening, and avoid clamps.

I need 2 1/2" long screws that would work with Kreg but I found only 2" long locally. For this reason I ordered these from Amazon.

JayL, are you saying that this is not practical for materials other than 3/4" plywood?

What he means is that the kreg jig is a great system for joining 3/4" ply. But it is also a good way to join other thicknesses be it plywood or hardwood.
