thanks Jay, this project is my second work bench. the first was a gamble so I used cheap wood. with the lessons learned on the first I decided to go for this. what made it easy was the fact that I have a router table. and yes, it was a router table that came first.

at my sister's house. cleaned the top(which was plain) added aprons and it is now used for the big TV in their sala. it has the same joinery only not as hefty as this one.
thanks guys for the replies. I enjoy this built and gets used almost everyday...
