They are both at the same price range (bosch a little pricier) and both are available in Panda.
specs are almost the same, except the jet can rip much wider 24" vs 18" of bosch.
but bosch looks much durable than the jet.

Cut Accuracy, ease of use & setup hope somebody can share.

Does anybody here own the Jet Table saw and could share his experience using it.

I only plan to use it for my hobby.

TIA!

I don't own a Jet so I can't give any comment but I do own a Bosch gts 10j. I bought it 4 months ago at goldpeaktools for my hobby as well. So far so good ung gts 10j, very solid and accurate naman.
I think 18 inches max rip capacity is just enough. Above 18 inch na rip cut Medyo mahirap na gawin sa table saw kasi mabigat na slide ung plywood at hindi magiging accurate ung cut better to use a circular saw for big sizes.

Thanks for the Info... update.

Decided to get the Jet. I choose the Jet because of the Arbor size & the rip capacity. Im planning to get a dado & freud blade. it has a standard 3/4 miter slot.

So far I only used it to rip a whole 3/4 ply, cut is good given I am only using the included blade.

Next time I'll test it cutting some hard wood.

the problem with the TS is the fence. It is not align, off by about 1-2mm from bottom to top.

I was able to align it using the the two screw on top of the fence, per user manual. After just a few clamp of the fence it is back to it original alignment w/c is off by 1-2mm in the top going inward. It is causing the wood to press against the riving knife and making wood marks (burn).

I will be making some modification.

Finally! I can comment here. Newby 10J owner here and it is so far rising up to expectations. Fence is quite precise and robust. Cutting capacity is not too wide but I have not attempted to do cuts for cabinets.

Went to the sites and back intact. So far so good, for now 😉

Congrats!

FYI, if ever you want to increase the cutting capacity of your 10J, I can help. I have stocks of the extension rails available.

It looks exactly like the front and rear rails of the GTS10J, minus the measurement sticker. PM sent

Thanks sir, eventually (not anytime soon though) I will plan to cut closets for our small apartment and your offer will be very useful. I initially thought of having a Rousseau table shipped home. Pls PM your item if possible, thanks again!

the extensions rails from joey81 is effective I built a custom table for that to extend the rip capacity but now it's eating dust and Im now selling. I sold my gts10j na and upgraded to a cabinet saw. I also have freud 80tooth 30mm arbor perfect for laminates and perfect for your gts10j. make your offer. 🙂 you can buy the freud blade from panda. Mine is only use for testing hehe

---what exactly do you mean? do you mean the fence is tilted inward by 1-2mm in reference to the table surface? or the fence is off by 1-2mm from the rear of the saw to front?

thanks

The fence is off by 1-2mm from the rear of the saw to the front. the rear of the fence is closer to the blade by 1-2mm vs front of the fence.

ahh..now that is a problem...it will be ok if its otherwise..
can you loosen the screws of the aluminum top and adjust it to be a little off parallel to the blade? that is the only way i can think of as i dont know the mechanism of the fence of the gts10j. it may be similar to my old Bosch 4100 saw.
