call Panda(2426154-56) in Bnondo, look for Edward and ask for the Jet JWBS-9 it should work well for your needs. price would be in the 8.5k range or better...

Re: needing bandsaw help..

Jet bandsaw was the best band saw locally but if ur in a tight budget i have an alternative i have a smaller one ..Ryobi 150mm 225watts Ryobi Band Saw HBS 150L but haven`t put a blade on it ..bibili pa ako sa T.Alonzo ARQ later..
The amazing Selling Price of 2.2k (no blade pa) (Php 2.7k pag nalagyan ko ng blade)

If 400watts -no stocks right now-Selling price for the 400watts Ryobi Band Saw is 4.2k only..

Its for DIY use only..If you need more reliable and durable one you can find one in Panda-Binondo..

More thanks..

Re: needing bandsaw help..

I'm ignorant about pool cue shops so bear with me on a possibly moronic question: Why do you need a band saw? I always thought cue sticks were straight. Wouldn't a table saw work?

Well, I know nothing about bandsaws, either so I'm probably missing the finer points on both bandsaw and cue stick making.

;ocal cue sticks often has inlay work in them, thus a lot of stock needs shaping :death:(small ones pa)...:chop:

Re: needing bandsaw help..

I own a dewalt bandsaw pero I have the same question as Balarila. Pag cue stick di ba dapat lathe machine? But then again for "veneers" daw so maybe for a another project. Kung "pagtistis" or ripping stocks before turning, then it's a practical choice at di aksaya sa kahoy. Anyway if your planning on making lots of cue-sticks go get a bigger/powerfull one (mga 6" capacity and 12-14" throat). But for my personal unsolicited advise... I pay only P10/bdft ripping service dyan sa sash factory.:)
