At first I was excited because I thought it would be a cheap substitute to a track saw. For ripping plywood or anything with an existing straight-edge already, then it could be.
For me, I usually work with rough cut planks and I usually use an aluminum straight edge glued to a piece of long plywood strip as a fence for ripping a straight edge on a rough plank, then use that edge as the reference for subsequent cuts.
Too good to be true (for me, at least).
Re: New Kreg Rip-Cut jig
that could wreck your plwood in more ways than one imho... its not even close to a track saw. notice the video doesn't have one in use...

Re: New Kreg Rip-Cut jig
I cut plywood a lot and probably more than any wood I use. Do you think investing in a sacrificial board ( say 3/4" plywood sheet) will be a good idea? I have only a sled and a straight edge plus circular saws.
Wag lang makalimutan set ang depth stop kung hindi putol pati sacrificial board ... LOL

I use foam or styrofoam as my sacrificial platform. Works great and reuseable pa. Cheaper too kasi free...

Re: New Kreg Rip-Cut jig
3/4" would be fine. The foam i use are the ones from packages of machines that gets shipped. 1" thick and soft, enough to lift the plywood from the ground. Doesn't even have to be the same dimension as the plywood, unless you do lots of 8' cuts.
