Another nailer to add to my old but trusty nailers...the hitachi koki nailer

good thing about it is its relatively lightweight with and some features absent in my old nailers.
1. a brad magazine window

2. a single sequential actuation mechanism

3. tool free jam freeing mechanism

which is absent in my old chiwanese nailer (mind you..this has been my workhorse since 2000 and it never jammed ever..)

4. soft latching mechanism to release the brad magazine cover

Re: Pneumatic Brad nailers

i would have preferred a lower psi working pressure

i replaced the stock connector with a swivel type one..problem is...its longer and wont fit the connector. i think i need to cut it to length via the angle grinder with a slim cutting disc.

V ... Use a Milton Kwik Change M Style 1/4" ( S715 ) Coupler available at LYS or Yale Hardwares.
I'm not sure that it won't leak if you cut it.

Re: Pneumatic Brad nailers

The older model Acme works too ... I got this from Panda quite sometime ago. I don't know why their new stock is not fitting.

Yes, if you bypass the safety feature.

There's a protruding part at the tip of the gun. The workpiece presses against this and this action releases the "trigger safety".

The first time I used my nailer I thought I got a lemon from Harbor Freight. Akala ko sira yung trigger. I was expecting it to shoot nails in the air. Took me 10 minutes to figure it out.
