hello everyone!

i'll get straight to the point. how does a router work? plunge router and fixed base router? which one is attached to a router table? is it easier to use while attached to a table or when it is held?

Put simply, it's like a rotating chisel.

You can attach both to a router table.

is it easier to use while attached to a table or when it is held?

it's not a matter of ease. it's a matter of what you're working on.
