Re: ryobi table saw
will see timb, txt kita.
the blade hits the mouth opening only when the blade is lowered. you need to raise it up again to make it square
Re: ryobi table saw
hmmmm is the saw usable?
Re: ryobi table saw
I'm not so sure it is a good idea to take it part guys. There is not much you can adjust unless you are willing to take a hammer to it. The plane which the the blade moves on as you move it up and down is determined by two sheet metal "U"s (channels if you like). I suspect the ends of one or both of these channels is slightly bent.
There is no easy way to adjust this short of replacing the entire height and angle adjustment mechanism. Also, I'm pretty sure the saw I "fixed" does the same.
The way around it is to adjust the angle of the blade every time you change the height. Not really that much of a hassle. So I believe the answer to Bee's questions is "yes".
Re: ryobi table saw
yep, been using it for some rips, there's a slight slight tilt sometimes, have to adjust blade height carefully.
now have a dedicated outlet for the workshop, the saw has a slight burnt smell when running, electrician said it could be the insulation ekek, he said he has the elec capacity covered with the new outlet
Re: ryobi table saw
more like a hot plastic smell, not really burnt
Re: ryobi table saw
its good to know its working. in such a short while/... It took me a long time before i was even close to confident in working mine.
have you ripped hardwood yet? I have to feed mine in with great care feeling the "eat" of the blade so not to stress the motor too much. problem is burning occurs., In maple any way. Narra was ok. Will be working with teak tonight
