Hahahah Liempo is not so good ...... 😮

oh? but they are yummy... the only time you want the blade protrution lowered is when you are using a scrub plane and need to remove lots of stock.
the trick Ben is to have the whole blade protrude as less as possible. the full width cut is very difficult to have on bad planes or ones that aren't tuned up... 😀

I took a shot of how much the blade of a scrub plane protrudes from the body. Its a bit blurred though, the camera couldn't focus on the blade.
I tried to measure it, its a little less than a millimeter. Pretty significant for a plane.

The shaft of my guide somehow shifted! grrr... So its time for me to make the an mkIII of the guide. This time i am hoping it will be simpler and more precise
