I finally finished it today, medyo late na daming storbo eh. Pasensya na rin sa quality ng video madilim na kanina plus the poor lighting condition ng shop ko.

here's the Jointer with all the necessary accessories; belt cover, blade guard, and the fence which is fixed temporarily at 90 deg. Saka ko na pag-isipan angle adjustment pag may need na. Medyo basa pa ang pintura nyan. Actualy yung fence na gmelina wood is the first piece that went through this machine. The first project to be made is its table with casters...its sooo heavy.

With matching color pa ung operator. Sa sobrang ganda nung jointer diyahe kapag di nakabihis habang gumagawa. :p :cool::cool01:

di rin ba halata na nag toothbrush at mouthwash pa ako? 🙂 Nagmadali din akong maligo .. buti na lang di nakita ang tuktok at batok ko...ever since nag serious ako sa woodworking yung hairfall ko mas naging rapid..sumasabay at humahalo sa sawdusts...:confused:

Actually the original video is may speech pa ako pero sobrang dilim dun sa recorded video..di kasi kabisado ng anak ko gamitin yung video dun sa camera nya.

Yung blade guard medyo sumablay dun sa video sumabit kasi yung kalso ng guard dun sa stainless sheet pero na-address ko na ito.

I'll upload this evening yung spring dun sa blade guard..naiwan ko lang yung USB cable ko.

here is the pic of the spring attached to the blade guard and also used under the infeed table. The spring looks very familiar for most of us, its a door spring available in hardware stores. The spring costs only P30 and cut to desired sizes.

and here is the culprit that failed in the video..already corrected by filing the edge of the wood shim.

and lastly, my Master appeared on that stock that I sampled. He is the greatest carpenter ever lived on earth, He is Jewish.

I will continue to update this thread with new videos once i made push blocks.

I have an all steel 6 inch jointer. While working on a couple of projects before, I had wished I had a wider jointer. Galing ng build mo. Sana maka-bisita diyan sa iyo to see it in action.

to tell you guys its been 16 months since i indulged my free times into woodworking and i didn't forsee that i would go this far. A Jointer was even unknown to me before until i encountered many problems while crafting boxes.

Necessity (plus budget constraints) is still the mother of inventions.;)

Great build Armand. I for one am so very proud of you bro. Lumbejocks is a top woodworks forum and they all seem to agree as well that it was indeed an excellent build. Way to go. 😎

Pwede din kaya yun phenolic sa jointer bed .... pero hindi na ako magugulat kung granite pa makita ko sa mga next jointer builds.

Jointer cost just went down ..... 12" pa.
