I'm very impressed sa sliding compound mitre wide range cut at 12 inc ,no tear out on plywood during cutting ,full detailed and clear measuring and wide table extension and the motor just like angle grinder .. hmmmm how much naman kaya ito?

Bro, I saw a unit last year sa may HANS TOOLS, Shang, but of course tools there are quite mahal, their price then was php 16,000K plus for the slide compound miter saw. Check out the " SKIL Product thread ", I have some photos of the items taken sa store. Ewan ko lang kung magkano ito sa labas. ????

I got the Skil 3160 at Panda in a good price.

What's included in the box are the following:
1. Dust Bag
2. Manual
3. 40T Skil carbide saw blade
4. A huge styro.... box is bigger than the GCM 10S Slide Compound Miter Saw. I don't know where to put the huge box its still sitting in my garage.

Additional Review:

1. Saw blade has an arbor size of 1" so if your going to use other blade like Freud you need to machine the inner flange to 5/8" in order to fit.

2. Poor location of vacuum port. No dust goes & exits at the vacuum port/ dust collector bag. Dust directly hit the location of the laser unit.

The unit shall be package with dust mask. Or modify the unit to have a better dust collection.

3. Don't trust the factory setting of miter and bevel gauge. You need to fine tune the equipment. I had a good cut result after several test & adjustment.

Any more additional reviews, personal usage of the SCMS, PLUS from your personal experience, is it worth purchasing the unit, can it be recommended 100%.
