Is the above tool good enough for beginner woodworking? I'm planning to build something out of kiln dry wood over the weekend and want to know if this is good enough for drilling and driving screws. Might have to drill on cement as well. Is it good enough?

Yes it will be good enough as your first drill but...............it will only limit your usage to drilling and driving screws on wood.

If you are thinking of using it on concrete, better yet get yourself a hammer drill and may I suggest getting the 6613 model, you'll never know when you will use a 13mm drill bit in the future. The 6610 will just limit you with a 10mm bit max.
