nice router bit tray, use to have as much, but running out of space for the bits... so I am making the new rt with lots of bit space...

I'm surprised your going back to a bigger RT table or you're going to have two.

not sure yet if I will keep both, the current rt is portable and the stand will be dedicated to the thicknesser. that is why I decided to build another full sized one...

i suspect mine is a temporary solution. Hence those trays are not glued nor screwed. Its just tucked in. Its a pretty tight fit thought

once i get my rt plate i may make a dedicated router table. copying you new build 🙂

I shall be anticipating you Thicknesser sled as well 🙂

Re: table saw router station

ok right now its not a router station YET.. will attach it again in awhile when i add supports on the left side

the crosscut sled would be something Macduff may want to use since its slap on and take out quite quickly. It rides on two references. The Fence and the left edge of the jimmy jig. I used acrylic 1/4" since plywood 1/4 is too flimsy.

Interestingly enough i have the exact same cutting capacity coz before i used a 3/4 ply for the sled. Now its 1/2" from the jimmy jig and 1/4 from the ply which is exactly 3/4 ehehhehe

and as you can see some really quick and dirty work on the panic stop... the frame wherein the hinge of the panic stop is attached is double sided taped on to the shell of the TS 🙂 hehehe
