I guess thats the tradeoff with the tritons from the US, the UK ones get the offset wrench, the US gets the table winder.

I paid a shipping charge of £22.58 on top of the £130.86 price of the unit. I guess the cheap shipping was another factor that made me decide to purchase from UK.

Yep, I guess that's the trade-off I'ved learned the costly way... buying a triton accessory kit,
and that too gave me a lot of problems...

Was it a forwarder or amazon themselves who shipped it here? If it was amazon, how much taxes did you have to pay for when it reached the Philippines?

So I then went back to amazon UK to purchase the accessory kit with a table winder. But I was surprised that all the sellers, even from external site wont sell me one because they will not ship to the Philippines.

I then decided to write a letter to the Triton website to ask for help or advise, but after a few days they replied that they are based in North America, and they distribute Triton routers that comes standard with table winder, and said they can't sell me one 'coz they are not sure if it would be compatible with my router:confused:.

And that made me wish I hadn't purchased that router:'(. I even thought of just selling it and just get another brand that can be purchased locally:(.

I didn't pay any additional charges even when it arrived here. UPS was their courier.

Desperate moves for a desperate situation, I went to amazon of Germany and France and put an order for a kit. Honestly, I didn't know how I was able to place the order to their site, but it didn't matter... they also didn't accepted my order.( I was surprised I understood French and German:D.) Still no table winder...:(

Hey bro, that's a nice toy you got there, don't be disappointed with your router, maybe you'll find and get those accessories if not from Amazon maybe from ebay or maybe some other online selling sites abroad. By the way how much in pesos did you pay for that unit if its not hassle for you me asking coz I've never purchased tools from Ebay or Amazon.

I believe Amazon ships worldwide. Using a forwarder makes it cheaper to ship lot purchases. Usually the shipping charge is quoted before you finalize the purchase.

Hi bro, it's ok, I paid a total of £177.01, around Php12T plus.

Well, to continue my story, I did find one kit in ebay Australia. And after some begging email to the seller, he did sell it to me and agreed to ship it to my place, with a hefty shipping charge of course,and I can't complain," beggars can't be choosers".:(

See, ganun lang yon, tyagaan and lots of patience, bro ok na rin siguro presyo nyan cause the one that I'm eyeing at a DIY store near us is I think 15K plus and its a Makita router, but of course I'm not rushing to buy it and still trying to convince myself if I need it immediately or maybe let it pass muna. Maybe concentrate first on my current welding table project, magastos din pala even though the materials needed are coming from the scrap yard.

But still your new toy is so cute, enjoy it.

Actually ok na bro, andito na ang winder accessory kit. And you're right, dapat talaga think hard before you buy, me, I got my toy from an impulse buy, but no regrets, I'm now satisfied with it.
