If this will be your first time to have and own a chainsaw, may I suggest looking for a reliable brand. There are lots of chainsaws being sold on line particularly OLX.Ph., cheap ones and the expensive types. I see Homelite, Gardenline, Poulan and Craftsman brands and many more. And the more expensive ones are the Stihl and a few Husqvarna.

If I am to buy a light duty chainsaw, I will look for the new McCulloch brand, why ? because I used to own one and have enjoyed and been satisfied with its quality. T'was my first chainsaw, from 96 'till 2016, sad to say it was retired due to over use plus the model I have didn't have parts anymore. Anyway this brand has a service station/shop in Evangelista, Quiapo, so servicing it was not a problem for me. Having a service station is a big advantage when owning a power saw.

Now I have gone to Stihl brand, a more heavy duty saw where parts and servicing is easy.

Well simply check OLX and see......... https://www.olx.ph/all-results/q-chainsaw ........ with various prices that may suit your budget for a chainsaw.

Hope this helps !!
