i like the short flush cut saw for dowels...naubos mo na ba yung narra dowels na binili natin before?

btw...any suggestion keeping rust from my tools? my tool enemy is my own two hands..they perspire a lot! 😡

when i see a wheeled marking gauge and a marking knife, i foresee some manual dovetail work on the making minus the dovetail saw.

otherwise, the second task i think mostly for a marking gauge is decorative hinge and or drawer lock installation.

or lots of mortise and tenon joineries...

I have not used the narra dowels yet..it is still waiting there for a project.
Hehe you guessed it right, i do want to try handcut dovetails..i foresee the veritas dovetail saws in my future next year..hehe i won't be letting go of the leigh jig though..that would be for the mass production work..

Is this the Veritas Straight Edge

1 1/2" high and 1/4" thick? I wonder if it is good enough to measure engine block and cylinder head flatness / warpage. It's cheaper than the one available locally at 4K.

Yup that is the Steel straight edge. They also have an Aluminum one too. I want to get the longest aluminum straight edge too, 36" i think..

My new 5.6mm layout pencil

Can be fitted with different colors like white (for dark woods) and orange, etc. Works somewhere between using a pencil and chalk.

hehehehe, not only that, I am constantly looking for a mechanical pencil that can stand up to my woodwork. I like the size of 0.5mm tip, gives me an accurate line to aim for...
