Re: MORRIS CHAIR, building a classic.

I was also about to say this..though it requires long experience to achieve desired output. I plan to build dining chairs as future project and considering the use of heat-bending technique.

Wow Jonathan...your adrenalin seems to be at peak na naman...nothing can slow you down at this point in time.

Keep it going...inaabangan ng lahat!!!

.

thanks armand, these are one of my dream projects, that's why the adrenaline is always at it's

peak. sam maloof, america's most widely admired contemporary furniture craftsman one's said

"whatever i am working on, i get excited. it does not matter if i have done the same piece

many times.i still cannot wait to get out to the shop in the morning."

although there are some issues on the joints, i'm still happy with the results.

wow!

sobrang bigat bro, pamamana ko na yan sa ka apo-apohan ko...natuwa ako sa yakal, kaya i guess

it's good for a morris chair. ok pa naman yung bits as of this moment, ewan ko sa susunod na

projects.

yes pa upholstery ko rin yung chair. plano ko nga me and swmbo will do the upholstery, plano pa

lang.

Re: MORRIS CHAIR, building a classic.

I love the idea of the swept back support but I hope it will not just be covered with upholstery and all.

Nevertheless, new approaches and challenges are enough to earn you another medal to your belt. Kudos to you, a man of less talk - more action.

the upholstery of the back support will be removable, but the seat (salong-pwet) itself is best

with upholstery. thanks very much for the compliments.

Re: MORRIS CHAIR, building a classic.

boring holes for the support pins onto the inside edges of the arms. the pins will hold the back

seat in place.
